Fine Lining - Aftercare

Following your treatment, it is important to follow the aftercare advice below to ensure the best possible results and to reduce the risk of complications.

First 6 Hours After Treatment

  • Remain upright for at least 4–6 hours after your appointment.

  • Do not lie down or bend forward excessively.

  • If you need to pick something up, bend at the knees or sit down rather than lowering your head.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that increase blood flow to the face.

First 24 Hours

  • Do not rub, massage, or apply pressure to the treated area.

  • Apply makeup gently if necessary, avoiding heavy pressure.

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, as it can increase the risk of bruising.

  • Avoid touching the area unnecessarily.

First 48–72 Hours

  • Avoid excessive heat such as:

    • Saunas

    • Steam rooms

    • Hot baths or showers

    • Sunbeds or tanning

    • Prolonged sun exposure

Heat can increase swelling and may affect how the product settles.

First 2 Weeks

  • Avoid other facial treatments such as:

    • Facials

    • Chemical peels

    • Microneedling

    • Laser treatments

    • Massage treatments to the face

  • Avoid flying for 2 weeks where possible.

  • Allow the product time to fully settle before any additional aesthetic procedures

Review Appointments

Results begin to show within 3–7 days, with full results visible at around 14 days.

A review appointment may be required 14 days after treatment if a small adjustment is needed. This allows the product time to fully settle before assessing the final result.

Important Notes

  • Results are not immediate.

  • Everyone responds differently.

  • Maintenance appointments are key to achieving longer-lasting results.
