
Aftercare
Advice Adhering to the recommended aftercare guidance is essential to support the settling of dermal filler and to help achieve optimal treatment outcomes. ​Immediately after Treatment
Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising is normal and usually settles within a few days
The treated area may feel slightly firm or uneven initially – this typically softens as the filler settles. Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the area unless specifically advised by your
practitioner​

For the First 24–48 Hours

Do not apply makeup to the treated area for at least 12–24 hours

Avoid alcohol, as it can increase bruising

Do not undertake strenuous exercise, gym workouts, or activities that increase blood flow

Avoid excessive heat exposure (saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, sunbeds)

Sleep on your back if possible and avoid pressure on the treated area​For the
First 2 Weeks

Avoid facial treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments in the treated area

Minimise prolonged sun exposure and always use SPF 30+Avoid dental work if possible (especially for lip or cheek fillers)​

When to Contact Your Practitioner

Contact your practitioner immediately if you experience:

Increasing pain, severe swelling, or worsening redness

Blanching (white patches), dusky colouring, or severe discomfort
-
Signs of infection such as heat, pus, or fever
​
These symptoms are rare, but early treatment is important
