Social Media and Media Policy
Lavish Academy recognises the importance of social media as a platform for communication, marketing, and professional engagement. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner when referencing Lavish Academy, its training courses, staff, or other students on any social media platform.

Students must not publish, post, upload, or share any content that may damage the reputation of Lavish Academy, its instructors, students, partners, or associated businesses. This includes defamatory, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate comments, images, or videos

Students are strictly prohibited from sharing, reproducing, distributing, or publishing Lavish Academy training materials, manuals, presentations, or course content on social media platforms or any other public or private digital platforms without the prior written consent of Lavish Academy

Photography or video recording during training sessions may only take place where authorised by Lavish Academy and must not include confidential training materials, course manuals, assessment documents, or any personal information relating to other students or models

Students must also respect the privacy and confidentiality of other individuals attending the course. Images or videos of other students, clients, models, or staff must not be shared on social media without their explicit consent

Photography and Media Ownership
During training courses at Lavish Academy, photographs, videos, and other media may be captured for training, educational, and marketing purposes

All photographs, videos, recordings, and media content taken during training sessions by Lavish Academy, its staff, or authorised representatives remain the sole property of Lavish Academy. Lavish Academy reserves the right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute such media for promotional, marketing, educational, and commercial purposes, including but not limited to use on websites, social media platforms, advertising materials, and other marketing channels

Students do not hold ownership rights over any media captured by Lavish Academy and may not reproduce, distribute, edit, or publish such content without the prior written consent of Lavish Academy

By attending a training course at Lavish Academy, students acknowledge and agree that any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the training may be used by Lavish Academy for the purposes outlined above

Any misuse of social media that breaches this policy, Lavish Academy’s terms and conditions, or applicable laws and regulations (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018) may result in disciplinary action. This may include removal from the course, withdrawal of certification eligibility, and where necessary, further legal action

Lavish Academy reserves the right to request the immediate removal of any social media content that is deemed inappropriate, misleading, or in breach of this policy.
