Academy Policy

To ensure a professional, safe, and productive learning environment for all students, the following academy policies must be followed at all times

Professional Behaviour
Students are expected to maintain a high standard of professional conduct throughout their training. Respectful behaviour towards tutors, staff, models, and fellow students is required at all times. Any form of inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund

Attendance and Punctuality
Students are required to attend all scheduled training sessions and arrive on time. Late arrival may disrupt the learning environment and may result in missing important theory or practical training. If a student is unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, the academy must be informed as soon as possible.

Failure to attend a course without prior notice may result in the loss of the training place

Equipment and Materials
All equipment, tools, and materials provided by the academy must be used responsibly and handled with care. Students are expected to follow all hygiene, safety, and treatment protocols when using equipment during practical training

Any damage caused through misuse or negligence may result in the student being responsible for the cost of repair or replacement

Uniform
Students must ensure that the correct academy uniform is worn at all times during training sessions. This is to maintain professional standards and comply with hygiene and health and safety requirements

Coursework
All required coursework and assessments must be completed and submitted within the specified timeframe. Students are expected to submit coursework without delay to ensure successful completion of the course requirements

Health and Safety
Students must follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines provided during training. This includes maintaining a clean workspace, wearing appropriate protective equipment where required, and following correct treatment procedures

Learning Environment
Mobile phones should be kept on silent during training sessions and used only when appropriate. Students are expected to remain engaged during both theory and practical training to ensure the best learning outcome

Personal Equipment
Students who choose to use their own equipment during training must ensure that all equipment meets current safety standards. If your equipment is over 12 months old, you will be required to provide a valid and up-to-date PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certificate before it can be used during training.

Insurance
Students must provide a copy of their current insurance policy covering training prior to attending the course

If you do not currently have insurance in place, please inform the academy in advance and we will be able to refer you to the academy’s insurance broker for assistance

Additional Support

Any additional hours of support requested outside of the scheduled training programme will be chargeable at a rate of £165.00 per hour

Exam Policy

Students will be permitted one attempt to sit the examination. If the exam is not passed, a resit will be required and will incur a fee of £75.00

Failure to comply with the academy policies may result in disciplinary action and, where necessary, removal from the course
